snapshots from the 2014 rose bowl

ran into sparty. nbd.

i started off the year with a bang: attending the 2014 rose bowl with my dad. this was the trip of a lifetime; memories i will cherish forever and ever and ever. my dad and i are die hard spartans and everything about this football season was just magical. i'm still riding on the happiness high from the win and the trip - in fact, this happiness high is making my lack of running less irritating - so yay! haha

here are some pictures and moments from the past week!

i bought a lot of swag. the santa hat and rose here
are just a couple of things i came home with!

of course we went to disneyland. it was CRAZY!
i will never go to disney during that time frame ever again.
too much for me :P

smiling pretty at the nye party

my dad ran into kirk cousins, now nfl quarterback.
of course, this all happened while i was trying to be
"good" and run on the treadmill...

enjoying the lovely weather at the pre-game tailgate. it was hot!

the rose parade was awesome. and i don't even like parades!

the team singing the fight song with the band & students
post-victory - a spartan tradition.

happy spartans :)

the rose bowl is an incredibly neat football venue

  1. YAY for being able to see your team play in the Rose Bowl and double YAY for getting in a visit to Disneyland (you know i'm a disney fan). I had to chuckle because while you were on the treadmill it looks like your nfl player there was having an ice cream with all the toppings!

    1. I know, right? I thought to myself: Of course, when I'm trying to be healthy on vacation, thats when my dad meets one of my favorite Spartans! But oh well. :) It was a special moment for him and I'm glad I didn't hold him back from it!

  2. What a fun trip! And I think your attempt at a panoramic shot is great! I absolutely love football stadiums. There is something so grand, yet so incredibly…cozy about them at the same time!

    1. Aren't they amazing? I have to admit, I was a little overwhelmed at the Rose Bowl because its SO huge and the logistics of getting into the stadium, bathrooms, etc aren't amazing... but it was still just a beautiful place to be! You still have to get me to a SEC game!!
