protein per serving: 13
makes two large servings, roughly one cup each

you can find this recipe on my fitness pal! just search: overnight oats w/ special k

ingredients:

- 1 cup gluten free oats (or use regular oats if you're not concerned about gluten free)
- 1 tablespoon finely ground flax seed (optional)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 bottle kellogg's special k chocolate protein shake (you can also substitute 1-2 scoops of your favorite protein powder + 1/2 cup mik of your choice)

combine all ingredients in a tupperware container. set in fridge right before you go to bed. when you wake up in the morning, give the oats a good stir and prepare to enjoy! you can heat them up and savor them warm (about a minute in the microwave) or they're good enough to eat chilled.

you can also add other fixin's like nuts, dried fruit or whatever else it is you like in your oatmeal.

is that easy, or what? plus, one serving keeps me full up through lunch time, and who wouldn't be happy about that?!

if you've tried overnight oats, share with me your favorite combinations! i'm always looking to spice up my morning breakfast. :)
